Nok Suite, six

began intense artistic exploration into Igbo Uli art idiom. Between 1958 and 1959 alone, he created over eighty-five drawings in pen and ink. These included the representations of various forms of human heads, as well as his self- portrait. Though the facial features of the images appeared caricatured, they were individually very distinct.
